John's time in the military led him to some of the most difficult courses the United States Army had to offer. He enlisted as an infantryman in 1993 which eventually led him down the path to be an Army Ranger. It was during this time in the Army that he developed leadership skills that perfectly complimented his existing warrior skills and mindset. This created new and unique opportunities for him to pursue.
John has developed a very unique set of skills throughout his life, so when the opportunity came available for him to train soldiers for the US Army; John embraced this opportunity with open arms. John was the first civilian certified by the Army to train soldiers and has direct influence on several of the cutting-edge trainings that all soldiers go thru in the military today.
Johns awards include the KY Colonel, Lone Operator, Mobile Protection, Conceal Carry in Hostile Countries, and SFAUC. John also helped develop the current military doctrine in the Master Combatives Course.
